Refugee Therapy Centre

Who is it for: We offer counselling, psychotherapy and support for refugees and asylum seekers throughout London. We give priority to children, young people, families and those who have been in the UK for less than 10 years.
Charges: We provide our services free of charge, except for those of professional income where we may encourage a contribution. Often able to provide support without charge outside of our commissioned boroughs, in certain instances we may requ
Waiting times: We do not have a waiting list as such, however we do advise that being given an appointment make take anywhere from 2 – 6 weeks. Incomplete referrals may increase an individual’s wait period.
How to apply: To make a referral, we ask that a completed Client Referral form (available on our website) be sent to our address, to the attention of Dr Alayarian, via post. In addition, we ask that any further information relevant to the person being referred (i.e. medical records, prescribed medications, etc) is also included to help us make an effective and appropriate assessment.
