Crisis is the national charity for homeless people. They help people directly out of homelessness and campaign for the changes needed to solve it altogether.
Crisis has centres all over the country, including central London, and can provide free one-to-one support to homeless people in Harrow and Brent. This includes single people who are street homeless, sofa surfing or staying in a refuge, as well as those who have no access to public funds.
Crisis can support people in the following ways:
- looking for accommodation and housing, then settling in well through 'Renting Ready' training
- finding work, applying for jobs or setting up a business
- training and classes, some of which lead to qualifications
- support with health and wellbeing, including counselling, workshops, social activities and access to an optician

You can refer yourself or be referred to Crisis. Alternatively, drop in to their London centre (address above) at 11am, seven days a week
