London Hearing Voices Groups Project

The London Hearing Voices Network provides ongoing support to the network of Hearing Voices Groups in Greater London. This includes providing training courses and networking events for facilitators. Their aim to to help increase the sustainability of well facilitated Hearing Voices Groups, promote the benefits of Hearing Voices Groups and help signpost individuals to groups in their local area. Their work also incorporates projects for young people, people in prison and people experiencing paranoia.

Hearing Voices Projects give people an opportunity to share their own experiences and find creative ways of coping. Hearing Voices groups are a safe place for those who hear, see or sense things that others don't, to meet up with others who understand what they're going through. It offers them the opportunity to break through the isolation and stigma so many people face. Fundamentally, they're about respect, understanding and peer support.
