The Mix are a free, confidential multi-channel service for young people aged 13-25. They can help to make sense of embarrassing problems, wierd questions and difficult thoughts by providing information and support.
There are articles, videos, phone, email, peer to peer support and counselling services. You can also volunteer.
The counselling service is free and nationwide. They offer eight 50 minute sessions over the phone by qualified counsellors and final year counselling students.
They also have a Crisis Messenger Text service by texting THEMIX to 85258. They are able to provide support for the following urgent issues;
Suicidal thoughts, abuse or assault, self-harm, bullying and relationship breakdown.
