Harrow User Group - Mind in Harrow

Harrow User Group supports mental health service users to be actively engaged in the improvement of mental health services in Harrow in a way that reflects their needs, wishes and expectations. HUG also aims to promote a positive image of mental health users in the community in order to improve rights and opportunities. HUG reflects the diversity of the local community. Benefits of membership include:

- A free quarterly newsletter with up to date news and reviews about mental health issues

- Invitations to monthly meetings with guest speakers

- Invites to quarterly forums where you will have the chance to tell senior managers your concerns

- The chance to become a User Representative, which involves reviewing different mental health services within a small working group; training and support is provided and you will even get paid for your attendance at sessions
