The Harrow Early Intervention in Psychosis Team is for people aged 14-35 experiencing their first episode of psychosis. Once referred service users can remain with the team for 3 - 5 years.
The aims of this service include:
- Early detection, assessment and treatment of symptoms
- Optimistic views about recovery focused interventions
- Provide a wide range of psycho-social interventions and support
- Provide support and intervention for family and carers
- To work in partnership with a range of statutory and non-statutory services.

Who is it for:
The team can work with a very limited number of people from that area, who are between 18 and 35 and have a first episode of psychosis
How to apply:
Referrals from Direct referral from the GP including primary care teams, self referrals also accepted, A&E liaison service, Home treatment teams, Assessment and brief treatment teams, Inpatient mental health wards, Court diversion and youth offending teams and IAPT services
