Maytree is “A Sanctuary for the Suicidal”. They offer a free 4-night/5-day one-off stay to adults over the age of 18 from across the UK. Their aim is to provide a safe, confidential, non-medical environment for guests. The service runs 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You can self-refer or someone else can refer you; all contact is confidential and there is no pressure to take things further. If, after assessment (face to face or by telephone), they cannot meet your needs, they will aim to refer you to someone else who can.
