Acas (Advisory, Conciliation and Arbitration Service) provides free and impartial information and advice to employers and employees on all aspects of workplace relations and employment law. They support good relationships between employers and employees which underpin business success, as well as helping when things go wrong by providing conciliation to resolve workplace problems. They also provide good value, high quality training and tailored advice to employers.

Acas have an online helpline tool where you can type in a question to find information relevant to your needs. If you can't find the information you need, you can call their phone helpline (details below). Topics they are regularly asked about include:
