Headway's Harrow Support Group meets on the 1st Thursday of each month at 7.30pm. The meetings are held at Wealdstone Baptist Church, Wolseley Road. They operate on a drop-in basis and visitors are welcome, but it is advisable to contact Alex on the details below in advance of a meeting you wish to attend. Headway North West London also offer the LINK, a day service held on Thursdays from 11am - 3pm, at Wealdstone Baptist Church Halls. It provides informal social rehabilitation for adults with an acquired/traumatic brain injury, including people who have had a stroke. They also have a Brent Support Group – their catchment area is Harrow, Brent, Hillingdon, Ealing and Barnet.
National Headway has a free, nurse-led helpline, which provides information on all aspects of acquired brain injury. You can contact them on 0808 800 2244 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
