Shelter

Shelter helps millions of people every year struggling with bad housing or homelessness, as well as campaigning to prevent it in the first place.

They have a national helpline, which is open 8am-8pm weekdays, 8am-5pm weekends, 365 days a year. Their housing experts will advise you, no matter what your housing situation.

There are also two London-specific helplines. The Shelter London Advice Service is available Monday-Friday 9.30am-6.30pm.

Shelter Legal Services London provides legal advice and court representation in housing cases. It is available 9.30am-5pm on weekdays.

London Youth Gateway Service offers advice to 16-25 year olds, Monday - Friday 9.30am-6pm.
