Men Get Eating Disorders Too (MGEDT) is an award winning national charity run by and for men with eating disorders including their carers and families. Their website provides essential information that is specific to the unique needs of men and provides an online space for those affected to get their voices heard (e.g. peer support via our forum and one-to-one live chat sessions). They also campaign in the media and organise awareness raising events and training for professionals.
A monthly peer support group serving the Greater London area will be starting on Tuesday 7th April, 19:00-20:30, and will continue every first Tuesday of the month. It will take place at One Westminster, 37 Chapel Street, London, NW1 5DP. Email sam@mengetedstoo.co.uk or visit their website for more information. This group is for men affected by eating disorders/problem eating and their carers.
