Harrow Council run a 24 hour, 365 day, Careline Personal Alarm service to support vulnerable people and those with life limiting conditions (including mental health difficulties) to live more independently and safely. The service enables people to call a trained Careline Adviser at the Civic Centre should they fall, feel unwell or need reassurance. It is a valuable service that is well regarded by the 9,000 people who currently use it.
The service provides support to users of the service and their families, by being responsive and thereby giving greater peace of mind that those who may need help are never more than a button press away from receiving it. The service also enables users to stay living at home independently for longer.
There are a number of products within the range that can help with a variety of conditions including an alarm pendant, fall detectors, bed, chair and epilepsy sensors, medication prompts and key safes.
