Soul Kitchen provides a free hot meal to those in need within the local community. Food is served regularly alternative Saturdays.
Only fresh ingredients are used to prepare all food and our kitchen is supervised by experienced staff from the hospitality and catering industry. Soul Kitchen is run by a team of volunteers and not affiliated to any religious, political or other organisation and is an independent venture inspired by a community spirit and the desire to give back.
In times of austerity, with homelessness on the rise and food poverty a reality to many families and individuals, Soul Kitchen aims to provide a friendly and welcoming environment to all with a freshly prepared hot meal. We have worked with food banks, welcome support from local businesses and charities and work solely for the community. This initiative is entirely volunteer led and relies on donors to help keep the kitchen stocked. 100% of all donations received are spent on fresh food.
