Sheltered Housing - Harrow Housing Assessments Team

Sheltered housing is accommodation specially designed for people of 60 and over who can live independently and would like to come and go as they please, but prefer the added security of a Warden and an alarm-cord system in case they need to call for help in an emergency. It may also suit people who can manage alone with various kinds of help arranged by Social Services.

This may be an option to secure permanent accommodation quickly if you are at risk of becoming homeless, and aged over 60.

Personal care is not provided in sheltered housing. Other housing is available if you have needs that would make sheltered accommodation unsuitable – please get in contact for more details.
